Job Description

To support the Mechanical Design & Engineering team in delivering high-quality MEP solutions for various projects. The role is focused on learning and contributing to HVAC, plumbing, fire fighting, and other mechanical systems design under the guidance of senior engineers.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in preparing mechanical design drawings, layouts, and schematics for HVAC, plumbing, and fire fighting systems.
Support in performing load calculations, equipment selection, and duct/piping sizing using design software.
Coordinate with internal teams and consultants to gather project requirements and design inputs.
Participate in site visits and inspections to understand practical implementation of designs.
Maintain documentation and records of design revisions, approvals, and project correspondence.
Learn and apply relevant codes, standards, and best practices in mechanical design.
Support in preparing BOQs, technical specifications, and tender documents.
Work on AutoCAD, Revit, and other design tools as required.

Requirements:

Education:
B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering (2024/2025 pass-out preferred)
Experience:
Freshers or up to 1 year of internship/project experience in MEP design
Skills:

Basic understanding of HVAC, plumbing, and fire fighting systems
Proficiency in AutoCAD; knowledge of Revit or other BIM tools is a plus
Good analytical and problem-solving skills
Effective communication and willingness to learn
Familiarity with ISHRAE, ASHRAE, NBC, and other relevant standards
