Governance risk & compliance manager

As a Cybersecurity Project Manager, you will be responsible for leading and executing cybersecurity projects from initiation to closure, ensuring alignment with business objectives and security best practices. Your key responsibilities include defining project scope, timelines, milestones, and resource allocation to prioritize security outcomes. Proactively identifying, assessing, and mitigating security risks throughout the project lifecycle will be crucial. You will develop and implement risk mitigation strategies while ensuring alignment with organizational risk appetite. Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders, you will emphasize security requirements, communicate security-related information effectively, and manage expectations related to project security deliverables. In terms of Security Compliance & Quality Assurance, you will implement and monitor security controls to ensure projects adhere to relevant cybersecurity policies, regulations, and industry standards. Conducting security assessments and maintaining comprehensive documentation related to security aspects of projects will be essential. You will prepare and present security-focused reports to senior management and stakeholders. Your expertise in cybersecurity will be utilized to guide project teams, ensuring that security is a primary consideration in project design and implementation. Providing security guidance and mentorship to team members will be part of your role. Managing security-related escalations and incidents within projects, ensuring timely and effective response, is also a key responsibility. Continuously identifying and implementing security best practices and process improvements to enhance project security and organizational security posture will be expected. Your qualifications should include extensive experience in leading and executing cybersecurity projects, preferably in the Cybersecurity and E-commerce sector. A bachelor's degree in a relevant field, along with advanced security certifications and project management certifications, will be highly desirable. Deep understanding of cybersecurity principles, practices, and technologies, technical skills in security tools and technologies, excellent communication skills to articulate complex technical security information, strong problem-solving abilities, and proven leadership skills to mentor and guide team members on security best practices are essential requirements for this role.
