1+ years of experience in sports writing, news content, or similar rolesCommand the English language with the ability to create content that engages A knack for creating compelling, well-researched articles that capture breaking news, explore emerging trends, and deliver rich, insightful featuresLive and breathe sports, always staying updated on live events, team news, and the latest trends while thriving in a fast-moving, dynamic environmentFamiliarity with Content Management Systems (CMS), especially WordPress, is a valuable bonusAs a Golf Journalist at EssentiallySportsYou’ll create 6 compelling articles each day, maintaining the high-quality standards we’re known for at EssentiallySports

Working six days a week, you’ll sync with a schedule that speaks to our US audience, ensuring timely, relevant content
Every article you craft will be well-researched, factually accurate, and designed to hook readers from the start

You’ll collaborate with the editorial team to uphold quality and brainstorm fresh ideas with the content team to keep fans engaged and excited
We want you to dive into what makes our audience tick—understanding their love for the game and creating content that speaks directly to that passion
