Job description:

As a Senior Software Engineer, Playback Platform, you will play an integral part in building the future of Streaming at Warner Bros Discovery's products and brands ranging from Max, TNT Sports, D+, to many other WBD brands.

• Help build the backend services that power the playback experiences for millions of subscribers around the world

• Collaborate with other software engineers and product teams to ensure successful implementation of software solutions to meet our primary goals

• Analyze and build solutions related to video playback and content protection

• Mentor the next generation of software engineers

• Be a leader for driving best engineering practices including testing, code/architecture reviews, and documentation in the role of Senior Software Engineer, Playback Services, you will report to the Manager of Playback Services. Requirements

• You have 5+ years of experience crafting software solutions with a track record for developing solutions used globally by millions of users.

• You have experience building scalable, fault tolerant backend services.

• You are experienced with modern programming languages such as TypeScript and Golang

• You have experience working with cloud technologies in AWS or GCP

• Nice to have o You have expertise in video streaming and DRM technologies o Expertise in a range of programming languages like Golang, C++, java, Elixir, Python, Rust

Job Types: Full-time, Fresher, Contractual / Temporary
Contract length: 6 months

Pay: ₹534,948.43 - ₹8,000,000.00 per year
