Job Summary:

Golang Developer

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, test, and maintain backend applications using Go.
  • Build scalable and efficient microservices architecture.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including DevOps, QA, and front-end developers.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
  • Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and team meetings.
  • Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
  • Ensure code quality, security, and performance standards are met.
  • Work with containerization tools such as Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.

Required Skills:

  • 5 to 8 years of backend development experience, with at least 3+ years in Golang.
  • Strong understanding of Go concurrency patterns, interfaces, and standard libraries.
  • Experience with RESTful API design and development.
  • Good knowledge of microservices architecture and distributed systems.
  • Familiarity with database technologies SQL (PostgreSQL/MySQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB/Redis).
  • Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Working knowledge of cloud platforms like AWS/GCP/Azure.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with message brokers like Kafka, RabbitMQ, or NATS.
  • Familiarity with GraphQL or gRPC.
  • Contributions to open-source Go projects or personal GitHub portfolio.
  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
