Golang Developer - B2C SaaS

We need a Golang expert who lives and breathes microservices architecture. You'll join a team of 6 exceptional Go engineers building video processing pipelines, real-time analytics, and social media API integrations that serve 100,000+ creators. This is 80% hands-on coding writing efficient, concurrent Go code that scales.

Building efficient abstractions across our service architecture without sacrificing performance.

About Us

Our engineering team uses AI as a core development partner Claude Code, custom RAG systems, and context engineering methods that help us achieve great results the first time. We're looking for a Golang engineer who sees this as the future of development, not a threat to job security.

The Role

You'll be one of 6 senior Go engineers in a flat, collaborative team where everyone is exceptionally skilled. No hierarchy, no politics just talented engineers solving complex problems together. You'll report to our Head of Engineering who has deep Go expertise and knows when to guide versus when to get out of the way.

This is primarily a coding role (80% of your time). You'll write Go services using Gin framework, orchestrate async workflows with AWS SQS, and build data layers on PostgreSQL. The remaining 20% is collaborating on architecture decisions designing service boundaries, API contracts, and finding the right abstractions that make our system both powerful and maintainable.

What You'll Actually Do

• Build microservices using Gin framework that handle video processing, analytics, and social media integrations
• Design and implement gRPC services for efficient inter-service communication
• Write concurrent Go code that processes millions of social media posts using goroutines and channels
• Architect async workflows with AWS SQS for reliable, scalable job processing
• Optimize PostgreSQL queries and data models for services handling real-time analytics
• Find the right abstractions that simplify our architecture without creating performance bottlenecks
• Collaborate with 5-6 peer engineers on service design and API contracts
• Ship production code daily — no lengthy design phases or committee approvals
• Profile and optimize critical paths when performance matters

What You Bring

• 5+ years of professional Golang experience building software products — not DevOps tools, not data pipelines, but actual Go-based products that users interact with
• Deep expertise with microservices architecture and service decomposition
• Production experience with our exact stack: Gin framework, AWS SQS, PostgreSQL
• gRPC expertise for building high-performance service communication
• Mastery of Go's concurrency model — you know when to use channels vs mutexes vs atomic operations
• Experience building efficient abstractions that balance flexibility with performance
• Product company background — you've built backend systems for user-facing products, not internal tools
• Strong PostgreSQL skills including query optimization and proper indexing strategies
• Infrastructure-as-Code experience with AWS CDK or Terraform
• Currently based in Bangalore with ability to work from our Koramangala office — we need someone who can start within 30 days, not interstate transfers
