Golang and JavaScript Software Engineer

As a Golang and JavaScript Software Engineer, your role will involve developing the next generation of self-service applications, enhancing existing solutions, and focusing on customer satisfaction. You will be working on Next Generation Self-Service Checkout systems and cloud-enabled services using Go, JavaScript/TypeScript, and Cloud technologies. Collaboration with Engineering teams to develop back-end APIs supporting thousands of transactions and Next-Gen Products will be a key aspect of your responsibilities. Key Responsibilities: - Design and Develop high-quality software, ensuring compliance with requirements, promoting software component re-use, and facilitating support. - Diagnose and implement solutions for system failures caused by software errors. - Provide technical input for documentation, user help materials, and customer training. - Conduct unit tests, track issues, and make necessary changes to meet test and requirements. - Participate in code review sessions and create accurate work effort estimates. - Analyze, design, and implement software mechanisms to enhance code stability, performance, and reusability. - Identify and implement process improvements in Engineering practices. - Stay updated on technology trends, disseminate knowledge to team members, and participate in industry groups. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field. - Minimum 6 years of experience in software design and development. - Profound understanding of Computer Science fundamentals. - Strong skills in software development, debugging, automated unit testing, and troubleshooting. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in teams. Additional Details: The preferred skills and experiences include Database Design, MQTT Message broker, Performance Optimization, Agile Scrum methodologies, continuous integration systems knowledge, secure solution development, multi-threaded backend environments, Cloud Native Development, DevOps, Test Automation, and adherence to software development standards and protocols.
