Godown Supervisor/ Stock Keeper

Role Overview: You will be responsible for supervising daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, and issuing goods. Your main tasks will include maintaining accurate inventory records, updating stock levels, coordinating with other departments for material flow, ensuring proper labeling and stacking of goods, conducting stock verification, maintaining cleanliness and safety standards, preparing goods for dispatch, handling loading and unloading operations, and preventing losses by monitoring theft, damage, or spoilage. Key Responsibilities: - Supervise daily warehouse operations - Maintain accurate inventory records and stock registers - Update stock levels and report shortages, damages, or discrepancies - Coordinate with purchase and sales departments for material flow - Ensure proper labeling, stacking, and identification of goods - Conduct periodic stock verification and reconciliation - Maintain cleanliness and safety standards in the godown - Prepare goods for dispatch and ensure timely delivery coordination - Handle loading/unloading operations and supervise labor as required - Prevent losses by monitoring theft, damage, or spoilage Qualifications Required: - Prior experience in warehouse management - Strong organizational and communication skills - Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines - Knowledge of inventory management systems and procedures - Attention to detail and ability to multitask effectively Please note that this job is full-time and permanent, and the work location is in person.,
