Job Description

You will be responsible for managing the godown in Ernakulam with a shift timing from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM. Your main duties will include overseeing stock management by supervising stock records, conducting audits, and ensuring proper labeling. Additionally, you will be in charge of load supervision, overseeing loading/unloading procedures, and ensuring goods are stored efficiently for easy retrieval. Your role will also involve team supervision, where you will manage daily activities of staff, provide training to new employees, and address performance issues. Safety and compliance will be a key aspect of your responsibilities, ensuring safety protocols are followed, maintaining a clean work environment, and storing materials in line with safety regulations. You will also be responsible for reporting and documentation, maintaining accurate inventory records, reporting operational issues to management, and preparing regular stock and employee performance reports. The ideal candidate should have 2-3 years of experience in godown supervision or warehouse management, along with a high school diploma (logistics certification is a plus). The required skills for this role include strong organizational and communication skills, the ability to manage multiple tasks and supervise a team, and a basic knowledge of inventory management software and safety procedures. This is a full-time job that requires in-person work at the specified location. If you have 2 years of experience as a godown supervisor and warehouse management, you would be preferred for this role.,
