company'sInfrastructure, construction, or EPC industry experience is required.

Role & responsibilities

Lead and manage the companys taxation function, covering both Direct and Indirect Taxes.
Provide strategic advice on tax implications for business decisions, including Pre-Bid evaluations, Joint Ventures (JVs), alliances, and subsidiary/JCO/JV formations within or outside India.
Advise management and cross-functional teams on changes in tax regulations and ensure seamless implementation across the organization.
Assess, monitor, and mitigate taxation-related risks in alignment with business strategy.
Oversee Transfer Pricing issues and ensure compliance with applicable laws.
Represent the company in tax assessments, appeals, and litigations up to Tribunal level.
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including auditors, consultants, and regulatory authorities.
Develop, mentor, and lead a team of taxation professionals.
Ensure strong governance, compliance, and tax planning practices across the group.

Preferred candidate profile

2-3 years of relevant experience in the infrastructure, construction, or/ Construction / EPC industry is a must.
Strong knowledge of Direct & Indirect Taxes, Transfer Pricing, and International Taxation.
Strategic thinker with the ability to assess risks and provide proactive business solutions.
Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Strong governance and planning orientation.
