Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Global Information System (GIS) / Spatial Database Professional to support the migration and management of GIS spatial data from Oracle to PostgreSQL databases in an AWS environment. The candidate will work closely with the client team, demonstrating strong expertise in GIS data storage, analysis, and database management. Roles and Responsibilities: Manage and analyze GIS spatial data, ensuring accuracy and consistency during migration Incorporate GIS-related changes from Oracle to PostgreSQL in AWS environments Develop and optimize database queries, stored procedures, and scripts in both Oracle and PostgreSQL databases Understand and ensure data parity between Oracle and PostgreSQL during migration Perform GIS spatial data storage, analysis, and management tasks effectively Collaborate independently with the client team to gather requirements and deliver solutions Utilize AWS database services to support database migration and management (AWS experience is a plus) Prepare documentation and provide ongoing support for database operations and migrations Mandatory Skills: Global Information System (GIS) / Spatial Database expertise Oracle database experience PostgreSQL database experience Desired Skills: Experience with AWS database services (RDS, Aurora, etc.) Additional Information: Candidates must attend face-to-face interviews at the nearest delivery center (DC) Working hours are standard daylight hours, no shifts
