GIS Engineer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented GIS Engineer/Senior GIS Engineer to

join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise in ArcGIS and

QGIS platforms and GIS-based tools to support spatial data analysis, mapping, and

geodatabase management across a variety of projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, maintain, and analyze geospatial data using ArcGIS and related

tools

• Create high-quality maps, reports, and dashboards for internal
• Design and manage geodatabases and spatial data models
• Integrate GIS with other data systems and technologies (GPS, CAD, SQL,

APIs)

• Ensure accuracy, consistency, and integrity of spatial datasets
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineers, and analysts

Qualifications:

Required:

• Bachelors degree in Geography, GIS, Geomatics, Environmental Science,

Civil Engineering, or a related field

• 3+ years of experience working with ESRI ArcGIS products (Desktop, Pro,

Online, Enterprise)

• Strong understanding of GIS principles, cartography, and spatial data analysis
• Proficiency in working with shapefiles, geodatabases, and web maps
• Experience in data visualization and map creation

Preferred:

• Experience with ArcGIS Server, QGIS, or cloud-based GIS solutions
• Knowledge of GIS mapping, remote sensing, LiDAR, or CAD integration
• GIS certification (e.g., GISP or Esri Technical Certification) is a plus
