Essence of the profile Were looking for a skilled Python Developer to help us enhance our core backend systems and drive digital transformation in insurance. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, test, and maintain backend services using Python. Build and scale RESTful APIs for seamless integration with third-party platforms and clients. Collaborate closely with Product, Frontend, and DevOps teams to deliver high-quality solutions. Implement secure, scalable, and robust architecture patterns for SaaS applications. Work with relational (PostgreSQL/MySQL) and non-relational databases (MongoDB, Redis). Integrate with external APIs (e.g., payment gateways, CRMs, policy management tools). Write unit and integration tests to ensure system reliability. Optimize application performance and troubleshoot production issues. Requirements 3+ years of professional experience in backend development using Python (preferably Django, Flask, or FastAPI). Strong understanding of software engineering principles, RESTful APIs, and microservices architecture. Experience with database design and data modeling. Familiarity with Agile methodologies and Git workflows. Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP). Solid grasp of API security, authentication (OAuth2, JWT), and data privacy standards. Excellent communication skills and team collaboration abilities. Nice to Have Familiarity with C++ development, Ability to integrate Python applications with C++ modules for performance-critical components. Exposure to Apache Arrow and Working knowledge of the Parquet file format, including reading/writing large datasets and optimizing data storage for analytics workflows. Product Marketing (Event Response) Roles & Responsibilities Required to work closely with our founders and our engineering & product teams to translate features of our innovative insurance technology platform EigenPrism into crisp marketing communication that excites our clients to use our product. Create insightful blogs on global natural catastrophe events and drive engagement through well-crafted email campaigns. Write clear, user-friendly Help Center articles, product release notes, and other product-related documentation. Partnering with stakeholders across the business, you will own the voice of the product and help communicate the right information to the right customers at the right time to help them extract maximum value from the product. Required to work collaboratively with our technology and product team, from idealization to launch and user adoption. Required to analyze and report marketing KPIs to track impact of marketing campaigns, optimize and improve the engagement of customers with our platform. Experienced in working with B2B software companies and are familiar with the dynamics and customer journey in enterprise B2B companies.
