GIS Analysts/Sr. GIS Analyst - Agri/Remote Sensing

Role Overview: You will be responsible for performing GIS tasks allocated as per project requirements such as digitization, editing, and spatial data analysis. Additionally, you will capture ground truth information based on provided plans and digital sources, and conduct various analyses on satellite data. Your role will involve capturing map and related data into GIS software to accurately calculate the area for all features. Furthermore, you will implement image processing techniques like image classification and GIS analysis to extract meaningful information and results based on project needs. Lastly, you will be in charge of creating and maintaining the necessary database for GIS data storage. Key Responsibilities: - Perform GIS tasks allocated as per project requirements, including digitization, editing, and spatial data analysis - Capture ground truth information based on plans and digital sources, and conduct various analyses on satellite data - Input map and related data into GIS software for accurate calculation of feature areas - Implement image processing techniques such as image classification and GIS analysis to extract relevant information - Create and maintain the necessary database for GIS data storage Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's/Masters in geomatics, remote sensing, GIS, agriculture, geography, earth science, or related field - Experience in the agriculture field is preferable - Proficiency in GIS and remote sensing software, GIS data collection, quantitative and qualitative data analysis, and the ability to create detailed reports,
