GIS Analyst

Role Overview: You will be joining Stronghold Investment Management as a skilled GIS Analyst in Bangalore. Your main responsibility will be providing top-tier geospatial analysis and mapping solutions to different teams within the company. It is essential for you to be proficient in the ArcGIS suite and capable of excelling in an entrepreneurial environment. Key Responsibilities: - Deliver comprehensive mapping support to Land, Engineering, and Geological teams across various U.S. basins. - Perform digitization and editing of spatial data to meet client requirements. - Utilize land records for precise georeferencing and alignment of spatial data. - Develop and maintain the GIS database, ensuring data integrity, accessibility, and security. - Collect and integrate data from diverse sources to offer insights for GIS operations. - Execute data entry tasks efficiently to support GIS operations with accuracy and consistency. Qualifications: - Possess a Bachelor's degree in Geography, GIS, or related disciplines. - Have three to five years of experience as a GIS Analyst. - Demonstrate proficiency in the ArcGIS suite and related products. - Be willing to work from the office in shifts. - Knowledge of property legal terminology, including Deed plot and the Public Land Survey System (PLSS), is advantageous. - Previous experience working with Land teams in the upstream Oil and Gas sector is preferred.
