Position Overview We are seeking a seasoned Engineering Manager with a minimum of 10 years of experience in software development, engineering leadership, and cloud-based solutions. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of leading technical teams, a strong background in web and database technologies, and hands-on expertise in PHP, React, MongoDB, MySQL, Python, .NET, and cloud platforms such as GCP/AWS. This role demands technical acumen, leadership excellence, and a drive to innovate in a dynamic environment. Key Responsibilities Team Leadership and Development: Lead, mentor, and manage a team of engineers to foster collaboration and productivity. Provide technical guidance and career growth opportunities to team members. Software Development and Integration: Architect, develop, and maintain scalable applications using PHP, MongoDB, MySQL and Python. Ensure seamless integration of systems and maintain high performance across platforms. Cloud and Infrastructure Management: Manage deployments and scaling on cloud platforms (GCP, AWS) while optimizing performance and cost. Implement best practices for cloud security, monitoring, and compliance. DevOps and Automation: Drive DevOps best practices, including CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code (IaC), and automated testing frameworks. Implement containerization and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes. Collaboration and Stakeholder Management: Partner with cross-functional teams, including Product, QA, UX, and DevOps, to deliver world-class solutions. Collaborate with clients and internal stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver solutions. Code Quality and Best Practices: Establish and enforce coding standards, architectural best practices, and performance optimization techniques. Conduct regular code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices. Security and Compliance: Identify and mitigate risks related to infrastructure, security, and technology stack. Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices. Innovation and Continuous Improvement: Research emerging technologies and drive innovation within engineering and DevOps practices. Optimize system performance, scalability, and efficiency. Required Skills and Experience: Expertise in PHP, React, MongoDB, MySQL and Python. Strong understanding of cloud platforms such as GCP and AWS. Experience in implementing Agile methodologies and handling multiple projects. Knowledge of DevOps tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes, and Terraform. Proficiency with monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK Stack. Hands-on experience in scripting (Bash, PowerShell) and configuration management tools like Ansible or Puppet. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to lead teams efficiently. Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills. Qualifications Education: Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
