Position Overview We are seeking a seasoned Engineering Manager with a minimum of 10 years of experience in software development, engineering leadership, and cloud-based solutions. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of leading technical teams, a strong background in web and database technologies, and hands-on expertise in PHP, React, MongoDB, MySQL, Python, .NET, and cloud platforms such as GCP/AWS. This role demands technical acumen, leadership excellence, and a drive to innovate in a dynamic environment. Key Responsibilities Team Leadership and Development: Lead, mentor, and manage a team of engineers to foster collaboration and productivity. Provide technical guidance and career growth opportunities to team members. Software Development and Integration: Architect, develop, and maintain scalable applications using PHP, MongoDB, MySQL and Python. Ensure seamless integration of systems and maintain high performance across platforms. Cloud and Infrastructure Management: Manage deployments and scaling on cloud platforms (GCP, AWS) while optimizing performance and cost. Implement best practices for cloud security, monitoring, and compliance. DevOps and Automation: Drive DevOps best practices, including CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code (IaC), and automated testing frameworks. Implement containerization and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes. Code Quality and Best Practices: Establish and enforce coding standards, architectural best practices, and performance optimization techniques. Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices. Innovation and Continuous Improvement: Research emerging technologies and drive innovation within engineering and DevOps practices. Optimize system performance, scalability, and efficiency. Required Skills and Experience: Expertise in PHP, React, MongoDB, MySQL and Python. Strong understanding of cloud platforms such as GCP and AWS. Experience in implementing Agile methodologies and handling multiple projects. Knowledge of DevOps tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes, and Terraform. Proficiency with monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK Stack. Hands-on experience in scripting (Bash, PowerShell) and configuration management tools like Ansible or Puppet. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to lead teams efficiently. Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills. Qualifications Education: Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Responsibiliies: • Take up system analysis, design, documenting responsibilities and get it done in time. He/ she should be able to perform code analysing and reading exercises for current and previous projects. • Designing and developing user interfaces using Angular 18+ best practices . • Good knowledge of Type Script, JavaScript, CSS , and HTML (Bootstrap). • Developing unit test script to improve code quality. • Should have implemented custom JavaScript functionality using standard JS libraries. • Understanding of Cross Browser compatibility and standard compliances (web 2.0 standards). • Good understanding of Data Bases, MySQL preferred • He/she will/can be involved in the coding activities besides the team management role. Own scrum and all the related activities like sprint planning, release. - Create user stories and use cases for product features. . Look for roadblocks and mitigate risks. . Organize daily stand-ups, brainstorming and review sessions. . Maintain backlogs and prioritize them effectively. . Experience the product as an end-user and identify gaps to make the product better. And ensure users can see the value of the product! . Define product metrics and speak through data. . Be a driving force in assembling the resources necessary to ship high . Impact products and features, and facilitate communication throughout the development process. . Deliver effective presentations of findings and recommendations to multiple levels of stakeholders, creating visual displays of quantitative information . Work with the release process and support teams to insure that the product is released successfully and any issues in production are resolved quickly. . Measure and analyze success of product or feature using internal tools as well as tools like Google Analytics . Efficiently manage agile development of the product. - Contribute to the product's 'Go To Market Strategy'. Skills required : - .
