Gerber CAD Technician

You will be a valued member of our team as a skilled Gerber CAD Operator. Your main responsibility will be to use Gerber software to accurately translate design concepts into technical specifications. This involves creating and modifying CAD patterns, ensuring precise pattern grading, and working closely with design teams to actualize their ideas effectively. Your duties will include utilizing Gerber CAD software to develop and adjust patterns according to design requirements, collaborating with design and production departments to comprehend project needs, maintaining accuracy in pattern grading to meet size standards and quality benchmarks, reviewing samples and making necessary modifications for optimal fit and design, staying informed about industry trends and advancements in Gerber CAD technology, troubleshooting and resolving technical issues related to pattern development, cooperating with production teams to enhance processes and efficiency, and organizing project files and documentation meticulously. The ideal candidate should have prior experience as a Gerber CAD Operator in the fashion or apparel sector, be proficient in Gerber Accumark software and other relevant CAD tools, possess a solid grasp of pattern grading and garment construction principles, exhibit attention to detail with a focus on precision and accuracy, demonstrate excellent communication and collaboration abilities, thrive in a fast-paced work environment and meet deadlines effectively, and keep abreast of industry trends and technologies.
