Geospatial Data Analyst

As a Geospatial Data Analyst (Intermediate) at Idox Group, you will have the opportunity to be part of our expanding technical team in Pune, India, focused on building geospatial solutions for our land & property customers in the UK. We are seeking team players with technical expertise, particularly in open-source GIS technologies, to contribute to our team's success during this exciting phase of growth and innovation. In this role, you will join our dedicated geospatial data team, utilizing cutting-edge open-source technologies such as QGIS, PostGIS, and Python to deliver innovative web mapping solutions and GIS projects for both internal and external clients. Your responsibilities will include ensuring the integrity, capture, digitization, and enhancement of Local Plan data products, as well as collaborating with colleagues to refine work packages, monitor progress, and provide valuable feedback for continuous improvement. To excel in this position, you should possess a minimum of three years of hands-on experience with QGIS, along with a strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and a proactive approach to learning and professional development. Additionally, familiarity with GIS data capture, Python, or FME, as well as knowledge of UK coordinate systems and metadata standards, would be advantageous for this role.
