We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Solar Executive to oversee critical aspects of solar power project development, particularly focusing on land acquisition, licensing, geolocation analysis, and coordination with GETCO (Gujarat Energy Transmission Corporation Limited) for grid connectivity. The ideal candidate will bring deep knowledge of state regulations, technical assessment, and project management to support large-scale solar energy initiatives. Key Responsibilities: 1. Project Planning & Site Selection Lead preliminary site identification and feasibility assessment based on solar irradiance, topography, and infrastructure availability. Analyze land records, conduct physical site visits, and prepare comparative land reports. 2. Land Acquisition & Due Diligence Coordinate with land aggregators, brokers, and legal teams to secure land for solar projects. Verify land titles, encumbrances, and compliance with zoning and land-use regulations. Assist in MoU/Agreement negotiations with landowners. 3. Licensing & Regulatory Approvals Manage all regulatory processes including applications for CEIG, GEDA registration, RLDC/NLDC approvals, and connectivity with DISCOMs. Maintain trackers for all permissions, renewals, and compliance timelines. 4. GETCO Coordination Prepare and submit documents for grid connectivity approvals, including load flow studies and technical feasibility with GETCO.
