KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Raw Material Testing- Conduct quality tests on PVC resin, stabilizers, fillers, and other additives to ensure compliance with required specifications. Product Quality Assurance- Perform physical and mechanical tests on PVC pipes, such as tensile strength, impact resistance, and elongation testing, to meet industry standards like ASTM or DIN. Dimensional Accuracy Checks- Verify pipe dimensions, including wall thickness, diameter, and ovality, using precision measuring tools like micrometers and Vernier calipers. Hydrostatic Pressure Testing- Test pipe performance under specified pressure levels to assess durability and identify leaks or weaknesses. Heat Reversion and Environmental Testing- Conduct tests to measure heat reversion, UV resistance, and other environmental factors affecting pipe performance. In-Process Quality Monitoring- Collect and test samples during production to ensure consistent quality at various manufacturing stages. Compliance Documentation- Maintain accurate records of all test results and prepare detailed reports for internal and external quality audits. Lab Equipment Calibration and Maintenance- Calibrate testing instruments regularly and ensure their proper functioning to avoid inaccuracies in results. Support for Audits and Certifications- Assist in preparing the lab and documentation for certifications such as ISO 9001:2015, NSF compliance audits. Safety and Lab Maintenance- Ensure safe handling of chemicals and equipment, maintain cleanliness in the lab, and follow safety protocols at all times. Key Responsibilities: To get daily production schedule for next day from the plant head & communicate it to workers in the daily meeting. To assure the production activities starts on time in the morning/night. To take care of production due to unavailability of employee or sanctioning leaves of workers To help production people to achieve the productivity by resolving the issues which may arise during production. If require get the help of plant head. To get approval for overtime for justified reason from plant head. To collect the daily production report and review, if workers not submit it ask for it and if the employee refuse to give it inform to plant head. To assure employee follow the safety norms.
