Generative AI Specialist

As a member of the globally distributed Artificial Intelligence team at Siemens Energy, you will be involved in challenging projects within the energy industry. Your role will focus on combining strategic insights with data science techniques, particularly Generative AI, to drive maximum value from data. Here's a snapshot of what your day might look like: **Key Responsibilities:** - Research cutting edge methodologies and develop advanced AI solutions with a focus on Generative AI techniques for application along the value chain - Work in cross-organizational teams to support the implementation of innovative data science and AI/ML concepts at scale - Lead the implementation of AI/ML initiatives company-wide by providing trainings and boosting awareness - Stay updated on the latest developments in data science and AI/ML principles to facilitate data-driven decisions - Collaborate with partners across industry and academia to drive research and leverage expertise - Document developed methods, tools, and processes, and present results to customers within the organization regularly **Qualifications Required:** - 5+ years of work experience with a deep understanding of Gen AI solutions, specifically RAG, Agents, and Lang graph frameworks - University degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Engineering, or related field, with proficiency in programming languages like Python and experience in solution deployment and cloud computing - Proven analytical skills and expertise in data science, focusing on Generative AI, NLP, and other AI methods - Ability to collaborate effectively in global teams, with fluency in English, strong communication and presentation skills - Strong customer focus, interpersonal skills, open-mindedness, and willingness to learn Siemens Energy, with over 100,000 employees worldwide, is committed to developing sustainable energy systems.
