Generative AI & Python Backend Developer

As a Generative AI Engineer at our company, you will be responsible for contributing to the development and maintenance of scalable Python APIs in a cloud-native environment. Your expertise in Python backend development, Kubernetes, Docker, Generative AI (GenAI), and Large Language Models (LLMs) will be crucial for the success of our projects. Collaboration with cross-functional teams and ensuring high availability and performance of backend APIs will be key aspects of your role. Key Responsibilities: - Design, develop, and deploy highly scalable Python APIs in a cloud-native environment. - Collaborate with the AI/ML team on Generative AI projects, contributing to development and fine-tuning efforts. - Manage, monitor, and troubleshoot applications deployed on Kubernetes clusters. - Develop and maintain Docker containers for application packaging and deployment. - Write, test, and maintain TypeScript-based extensions for application features. - Debug production issues related to API endpoints, ensuring minimal downtime and quick resolution. - Ensure high availability and performance of applications across environments. - Integrate and optimize LLM-based components into existing services where required. Required Skills: - Strong proficiency in Python for API development using frameworks like Flask, FastAPI, or Django. - Hands-on experience with Kubernetes for deploying, scaling, and managing applications. - Strong command of Docker for containerization and orchestration. - Practical exposure to 1-2 GenAI projects (OpenAI, HuggingFace Transformers, LangChain, etc.). - Experience developing extensions or applications using TypeScript. - Ability to diagnose and fix endpoint issues quickly in production environments. - Proficiency in Git or similar tools for code collaboration and CI/CD. Nice To Have: - Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP. - Exposure to vector databases (e.g., Pinecone, FAISS) and prompt engineering. - Familiarity with monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana) and log management (ELK, Fluentd). Working Hours: This role follows a fixed shift from 2:00 PM - 11:00 PM IST to enable collaboration with global teams and support live deployments.,
