Job Description

Description

A General Ward Nurse provides direct and individualized nursing care to patients based on the application of scientific nursing principles. The nurse is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the care of patients in a general medical ward. This position involves working collaboratively with physicians, other nurses, and healthcare team members to ensure high standards of patient care.

Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive and ongoing assessments of patients’ conditions and needs.
Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with patients and their families.
Administer medications, treatments, and procedures as prescribed; provide patient education and support.
Monitor and evaluate patients’ responses to interventions, and revise care plans as necessary.

Qualifications

Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from an accredited institution.
Current Registered Nurse (RN) license.
