Job Description

Role & responsibilities Production Planning: Develop and implement production schedules based on demand forecasts. Allocate resources effectively to meet production targets. Process Management: Oversee the entire knitting process, from yarn selection to finished product. Ensure adherence to production standards and processes to maintain quality. Quality Control: Implement quality assurance protocols to monitor product quality at various stages. Collaborate with fabric inspectors to address quality issues promptly. Team Leadership: Manage and motivate production staff, fostering a positive work environment. Conduct training sessions to improve skills and knowledge within the team. Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels of raw materials and finished goods. Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely availability of materials. Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve production issues, such as machine breakdowns or supply chain delays. Analyze production data to identify areas for improvement. Cost Management: Monitor production costs and work to optimize processes for cost efficiency. Prepare budgets and reports on production expenses. Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, including design, marketing, and sales, to align production with business goals. Communicate with suppliers regarding material specifications and timelines. Health and Safety: Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in the production environment. Promote a culture of safety among the production team. Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on industry trends and technologies to improve production processes.
