Job Description

Role & responsibilities Planning of machines like -VMC, CNC, VTL, Turnmill machines (Approximate - 100 Machines) and staff for maximum productivity. Monitor and manage production processes, identifying and resolving bottlenecks. Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and productivity. Extensive knowledge of machining processes, CNC programming, tooling, jig's & fixtures and Gauges. Support New product development in achieving first pass success rate. Execution of production daily,weekly & monthly plan. Develop and train sub-ordinates for taking higher responsibility. Root cause analysis and CAPA for NC's raised in process and product audit. Continual Improvement in the area of Tool life, Cycle time, productivity , quality and ontime delivery. Familiar with various audit processes (Extenal & Internal as well) like, IMS, QS, ISMS etc. Familiar with resource management (Manpower Planning). Familiar with vendor qualification and development. Promote a culture of continuous improvement within the shop floor. Achieve OEE target of 75 % Preferred candidate profile BE / B.Tech - Mechanical "OR" Diploma - Mechanical BE / B.Tech - Mechanical "OR" Diploma - Mechanical More than 27 Yrs Expeience in relavant companies Heading machine shop having more than 100 different type of machines (i.e. VMC's, HMC's, VTL, CNC's, Turnmills).
