General Ledger Analyst

Role & responsibilities

• General Ledger Management:

  Prepare and post journal entries, manage accruals, deferrals, and reclassifications, ensuring accuracy for global operations.

• Month/Year-End Close:

  Lead or support monthly and annual closing processes, including variance analysis and reporting.

• Reconciliation:

  Perform complex balance sheet and bank reconciliations, particularly for inter-company accounts with worldwide entities.

• Compliance & Audit:

  Ensure adherence to local statutory requirements (VAT, WHT) and assist with internal/external audits for international entities.

• Reporting:

  Generate accurate financial reports and provide data for internal management and external disclosures (e.g., 10-Q/10-K).

• Process Improvement:

  Drive projects to optimize international accounting processes and enhance automation.

• Cross-functional Collaboration:

  Act as a liaison with global finance teams (Tax, Treasury, Business Finance) and external partners.

Preferred candidate profile

• Proven experience as a GL Accountant, ideally with international exposure.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication for global coordination.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel.
