Role Overview: As an OCR Engineer (GenAI Lead) at BIRLASOFT OFFICE in NOIDA, INDIA, you will be responsible for implementing OCR solutions to handle various document and image scenarios. Your role will involve utilizing OCR tools and data science methodologies to enhance the accuracy and efficiency of OCR systems within a larger scale project. Key Responsibilities: - Implement OCR on diverse unstructured documents like images and PDFs to curate high-quality data for LLM training. - Design, develop, and deploy OCR solutions customized for different document and image types using tools such as Microsoft Document Intelligence, GPT-4 Vision, and other advanced technologies. - Analyze OCR requirements and document/image characteristics to determine the best OCR strategies and algorithms. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate OCR capabilities into existing systems and workflows. - Apply expertise in data preprocessing, feature extraction, and machine learning to improve OCR accuracy, especially in challenging scenarios like low-quality images or complex layouts. Qualifications Required: - Experience in Microsoft Document Intelligence and GPT-4 Vision Models is a must. - Deep implementation experience and hands-on expertise in OCR engineering. - Strong background in data science methodologies. - Proficiency in developing and implementing OCR solutions for diverse scenarios. - Ability to collaborate effectively with software engineers, data scientists, and product managers.,
