Role Overview: GenAI Engineer

Location: Bangalore, India

The Software / GenAI Engineer plays a critical role in developing Generative AI solutions on AWS Cloud. This position offers a valuable opportunity to deepen technical expertise in AI frameworks, cloud infrastructure, and application development, while actively contributing to the delivery of production-grade GenAI systems. Working under the guidance of senior engineers and architects, you\u2019ll participate in building scalable, innovative AI solutions and growing your skills in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

AI Agent Development & Support

Develop Generative AI agents leveraging AWS Cloud infrastructure
Assist in deploying AI solutions for production environments under senior mentorship
Work with AI frameworks such as LangChain, CrewAI, AutoGen, and LlamaIndex for specific use cases
Learn and apply prompt engineering techniques and model optimization strategies
Application Development & Architecture

Build full-stack applications using modern development practices and AI agent tools (e.g., Cursor, GitHub Copilot).

Develop scalable REST APIs with authentication, validation, and robust error handling.

Integrate databases for AI workloads, including vector databases and traditional relational databases

Collaboration & Continuous Growth

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and technical constraints.

Contribute to technical discussions and architectural decisions.

Document implementations and share knowledge across the team.

Engage in hands-on learning with structured mentorship and project exposure

Requirements
Qualifications

Core Competencies

3\u20134 years of software development experience, including exposure to cloud technologies.

Additional 6+ months of hands-on experience with Generative AI, LLMs, or AI frameworks.

Proficient in Python and/or TypeScript.

Strong understanding of REST API development.

Basic to intermediate understanding of both SQL and NoSQL database systems.

Familiarity with Terraform or willingness to learn infrastructure automation.

Effective communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.

High motivation to learn and grow in AI and cloud architecture domains

Technical Skills

Experience with AI frameworks like LangChain, CrewAI, or similar.

Understanding of prompt engineering techniques and optimization strategies.

Familiarity with AWS services (e.g., Lambda, S3, RDS, EC2).

Proficiency with development tools including Git, Docker, and modern CI/CD workflows.

Working knowledge of PostgreSQL or similar databases.

Hands-on experience with building and consuming RESTful APIs.

Basic understanding of DevOps tools such as GitHub Actions and Terraform

Preferred Qualifications

Exposure to telecom or banking industries.

AWS Cloud Practitioner or Developer Associate certification.

Interest in advanced Terraform and cloud architecture training.

Academic or professional exposure to machine learning.

Contributions to open-source projects or personal AI projects
