Gel Operator

Medella Softgel Pvt. Ltd., a trusted name in the pharmaceutical industry, is hiring a dedicated Gel Operator for our Softgel Production Unit. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in gelatin preparation, understanding of the softgel manufacturing process, and a strong focus on maintaining high-quality production standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate and monitor gelatin preparation equipment according to SOPs and batch production records.
• Ensure accurate weighing and mixing of raw materials for gel mass preparation.
• Maintain proper temperature, humidity, and consistency during the gelatin melting process.
• Conduct in-process checks to ensure gel quality (viscosity, clarity, pH, etc.) meets product specifications.
• Clean and sanitize equipment and work area as per GMP guidelines.
• Record and maintain batch-wise production data and logbooks.
• Coordinate with encapsulation and quality assurance teams to ensure seamless production flow.
• Adhere strictly to safety and hygiene protocols.

Required Skills:

• Sound knowledge of gelatin mass preparation and softgel technology.
• Ability to handle equipment like gelatin melting tanks, transfer pumps, and vacuum systems.
• Strong understanding of GMP and pharmaceutical manufacturing standards.
• Good observation and documentation skills.
• Team player with effective communication and problem-solving abilities.
