Job Description

You will be part of the Configuration Services Team at Lenovo, responsible for various tasks including exploratory data analysis, process improvements, tool development, and supporting Configuration Business Growth. Your key responsibilities will include: - Developing and delivering new solutions, designs, and implementations to support configuration services and cross-functional Lenovo initiatives - Project and workflow development - Process design and re-design - Automation initiatives - Addressing manufacturing and product issues impacting configuration services - Handling Licensing, End of Life OS, New OS, Hardware decommits activity - Supporting Sales, OEM, and Customer support/interactions - Engaging cross-functionally with global initiatives to maintain and support Configuration tools and systems - Supporting Global Product Services Offering development and readiness sign-off Required skillset: - Knowledge of business ecosystems, IaaS, PaaS, APIs, open data, microservices, event-driven IT, and predictive analytics - Exposure to existing, new, and emerging technologies and processing environments - Technical knowledge on Client (Desktop, Notebook & Tablets) - Understanding of configuration services and service delivery - Structured Troubleshooting Techniques - Strong Services Industry and ITIL acumen - Good ability to communicate ideas effectively Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree with over 10 years of experience Lenovo is a global technology powerhouse focused on delivering Smarter Technology for All.
