Job Description

You have an exciting opportunity as a Cloud Architect with a focus on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). Your role involves leveraging your 15+ years of experience in IT to design and implement GCP solutions. Your key responsibilities will include: - Setting up GCP Landing Zone and designing VPCs, including subnets, routing, firewall rules, and VPN/Interconnect - Deploying Compute Engine following best practices and implementing Linux system hardening based on CIS benchmarks - Designing IAM policies with the principle of least privilege and utilizing KMS for encryption - Managing credentials securely using Secret Manager - Developing High Availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery (DR) strategies with a clear understanding of RTO/RPO - Modernizing legacy messaging solutions (e.g., MQ/WebMethods) with Pub/Sub architectures and API-based integrations through Apigee - Ensuring PCI compliance and adhering to TechSec or security best practices Qualifications required for this role include expertise in GCP Landing Zone, VPC design, Linux hardening, and IAM policies. Your experience with these skills will be crucial in successfully fulfilling the responsibilities of this position.,
