Position Title: Emergency Physician & ICU Physician Vacancy : 3 (Male/Female) Job Description: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Emergency Physician & ICU Physician to join our high-performing Emergency & ICU Department in our Hospital. Physician will be responsible for providing immediate diagnosis, treatment, care for patients with Acute illness and injuries. Key Responsibilities (Emergency Department) Stabilize patients and manage trauma, cardiac emergencies, poisoning, strokes, and other acute medical or surgical emergencies. Order and interpret diagnostic tests including imaging and laboratory investigations. Perform life-saving procedures such as intubation, defibrillation, central line insertion, and advanced cardiac life support (ACLS). Participate in emergency response training, CME programs, and quality improvement initiatives. Handle medico-legal cases in accordance with hospital policy and legal requirements. Key Responsibilities (Intensive Care Unit) Provide direct care for critically ill adult patients in the ICU, including assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up. Lead daily ICU rounds with the multidisciplinary team (nurses, respiratory therapists, pharmacists, etc.). Interpret diagnostic tests including lab results, ECGs, and imaging studies. Collaborate closely with consulting physicians from other specialties (e.g., surgery, cardiology, nephrology). Participate in rapid response and code blue situations; lead resuscitation efforts Ensure proper documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR). Qualifications (ER) MBBS with MD/DNB in Emergency Medicine or equivalent Fellowship in Emergency Medicine (optional but preferred). Minimum 5 years of post-graduate experience in an Emergency Department. Valid Tamil Nadu Medical Council (TNMC) registration certificate is mandatory.
