Job Description

Responsibilities

Diagnose and treat conditions related to the digestive system, including the esophagus, stomach, liver, pancreas, intestines, and colon.

Perform diagnostic procedures such as endoscopies, colonoscopies, and imaging studies to identify gastrointestinal diseases.

Develop comprehensive treatment plans, combining medication, lifestyle changes, and surgical options as necessary.

Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to ensure integrated patient care.

Educate patients and their families about gastrointestinal health, treatment plans, and preventive care.

Stay updated with the latest medical research and advancements in gastroenterology to provide cutting-edge care.

Maintain detailed and accurate patient records, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and standards.

Participate in on-call rotations to provide emergency care and consultations when needed.
Required Qualifications

Medical degree and completion of a residency in internal medicine.

Board certification in Gastroenterology.

Valid medical license to practice in the state or region.

Strong diagnostic skills and proficiency in performing gastroenterological procedures.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients and healthcare team members.
