Garment Merchandiser

Product Development & Order Handling

• Receive and analyze buyer inquiries, tech packs, and samples
• Coordinate sample development (fit, size set, pre-production samples)
• Ensure buyer approvals are obtained at each stage

Planning & Coordination

• Prepare time and action (T&A) calendars
• Coordinate with design, sampling, production, and quality teams
• Follow up to ensure production milestones are met on time

Costing & Pricing

• Prepare accurate garment costing and pricing
• Negotiate prices with buyers when required
• Control costs to maintain target profit margins

Sourcing & Material Management

• Source fabrics, trims, and accessories as per buyer requirements
• Confirm material quality, quantity, and delivery schedules
• Ensure materials comply with buyer standards and regulations

Production Monitoring

• Track production progress from cutting to finishing
• Resolve production issues related to quality, quantity, or delivery
• Coordinate with factories to ensure smooth workflow

Quality Assurance

• Ensure garments meet buyer quality standards and specifications
• Arrange inspections (inline, final) and address quality issues
• Handle buyer feedback and corrective actions

Shipment & Documentation

• Ensure on-time shipment as per buyer schedule
• Coordinate with logistics and documentation teams
• Monitor packing, labeling, and compliance requirements

Buyer Communication

• Act as the main contact between buyer and factory
• Provide regular updates on order status
• Handle buyer queries, changes, and approvals professionally

Reporting & Record Keeping

• Maintain order files, approvals, and production records
• Prepare status reports for management and buyers

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
