As an experienced Game Economy Designer at Ruby Seven Studios, you will play a crucial role in creating captivating social casino gaming experiences for a global audience. Your primary responsibility will be to design and manage the in-game economies, ensuring a delicate balance between player engagement and monetization. Your key tasks will involve crafting and implementing engaging economy models for our games, meticulously balancing in-app currencies, progression curves, reward structures, and monetization systems. Utilizing data modeling and player segmentation, you will forecast behavioral trends and assess the impact of new features to enhance player satisfaction and performance continuously. You will be expected to plan and execute economy-driven live events and promotions such as sales, challenges, and time-limited events. Analyzing A/B tests for pricing strategies, rewards, and progression tuning will be essential to optimize key KPIs related to monetization, engagement, and retention. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you will prepare detailed economy specifications, balancing sheets, and documentation for implementation. Your expertise will be instrumental in designing systems to prevent exploits, control inflation, and maintain long-term economic stability, ensuring consistent balance and fairness across different platforms. The ideal candidate for this role should have at least 8 years of experience in game economy design, preferably within the Social Casino games sector. A deep understanding of free-to-play economy design, monetization strategies, and player psychology is crucial. Proficiency in analytical tools like MS Excel, Google Sheets, or other statistical software is required. Strong communication skills, a passion for gaming, and a master's degree in Math, Statistics, Economics, or Engineering are desired qualifications.
