Game Economy Designer

Role Overview: You will be responsible for designing and developing compelling economy models for games. This includes creating and balancing in-app currencies, progression curves, reward structures, and monetization systems. Using data modeling and player segmentation, you will forecast behavioral trends and evaluate the impact of new features. Your role will involve continuously iterating on game economy design based on KPI analysis to enhance player satisfaction and performance. You will also plan and design economy-driven live events and promotions such as sales, challenges, and time-limited events. Conducting and analyzing A/B tests for pricing strategies, rewards, and progression tuning will be part of your responsibilities to optimize key KPIs related to monetization, engagement, and retention. Additionally, you will prepare detailed economy specifications, balancing sheets, and documentation for cross-functional teams and collaborate with them as they implement it. Designing systems to prevent exploits, control inflation, and maintain long-term economic stability will also be a key aspect of your role to ensure consistent economic balance and fairness across platforms.
