As an Unreal Engine Game Developer at our company, your role will involve designing, implementing, and optimizing gameplay mechanics, systems, and tools primarily using C++ and Blueprints in Unreal Engine. You will collaborate with designers, artists, and animators to seamlessly integrate assets and systems, optimize performance and memory usage, and debug technical issues related to game development. Your participation in code reviews, planning sessions, and staying up to date with Unreal Engine updates and best practices will be crucial in the development of our current and future projects. Key Responsibilities: - Design, implement, and optimize gameplay mechanics, systems, and tools in Unreal Engine using C++ and Blueprints - Collaborate with designers, artists, and animators to integrate assets and systems seamlessly - Optimize performance and memory usage across various platforms - Debug and resolve technical issues related to game development and deployment - Participate in code reviews, planning sessions, and feature discussions - Stay up to date with Unreal Engine updates and best practices Qualification Required: - Strong proficiency in C++ and experience with Blueprints - Solid understanding of game development fundamentals (rendering, physics, networking, etc.) - Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git, Perforce) - Familiarity with optimization techniques and performance profiling - Strong problem-solving and communication skills - Experience with multiplayer/networked gameplay development - Knowledge of VR/AR platforms and tools - Previous work on console, mobile, or PC games - Familiarity with Unreal Engine's Niagara, Chaos physics Company Details: Location: Technopark, Thiruvananthapuram Your 2+ years of experience developing games or real-time applications in Unreal Engine, along with any degree qualification, will make you a valuable addition to our team.
