Game Designer (Intern)

You will be joining Airai Technologies Pvt. Ltd., a leading game development company located in Mohali, Phase 8B. Specializing in creating immersive gaming experiences across multiple platforms, you will have the opportunity to work on live gaming projects and gain valuable industry experience. As a Game Designer Intern, you will play a crucial role in the conceptualization, design, and execution of engaging gameplay features. This position is perfect for individuals who are passionate about games, eager to learn, and thrive in a collaborative development environment. Your responsibilities will include assisting in the development of game mechanics, UI flow, and level design. You will be tasked with creating and updating design documentation such as game design documents and user flowcharts. Collaborating closely with developers and artists, you will be involved in implementing and testing features. Additionally, you will be expected to stay updated on game trends and player behavior to contribute innovative ideas. Your role will also involve participating in playtesting sessions and providing feedback on game balance and usability. To excel in this role, you should have a basic understanding of game design principles and player psychology. Familiarity with game engines like Unity or Unreal Engine is preferred. Strong creativity, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail are essential qualities for this position. Effective communication and teamwork skills will be crucial as you collaborate with various team members. While not mandatory, having a portfolio showcasing personal, academic, or team-based projects will be advantageous. This is a full-time position with a Monday to Friday schedule and morning shifts.
