Role Overview: At Light & Wonder, you have the opportunity to join the digital team leading the global iGaming market. As a Game Artist, you will be responsible for creating visually striking game art for slot games while ensuring high quality, consistency, and player engagement. This role requires a balance of creativity, technical expertise, and collaboration with cross-functional teams. Key Responsibilities: - Design and develop high-quality 2D assets for slot games, including symbols, icons, characters, environments, and UI elements. - Create polished visual concepts that align with the overall art style and game theme. - Develop appealing 2D animations and effects using Spine 2D and Adobe After Effects. - Collaborate with developers, technical artists, and game designers to integrate art seamlessly into the game engine. - Uphold visual quality standards and maintain consistency in color, style, and branding across multiple slot titles. - Provide feedback and support to junior artists and peers when needed. - Contribute creative ideas for new slot game themes, symbols, and visual storytelling. Qualifications Required: - 4-5 years of professional experience in the Slot/iGaming industry as a Game Artist or Core Artist. - Strong expertise in Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, After Effects) and Spine 2D for animations. - Solid understanding of game art pipelines, optimization, and formats (PNG, PSD, JSON, sprite sheets, etc.). - Strong sense of color theory, composition, and visual storytelling. - Ability to collaborate in a fast-paced environment with multiple stakeholders. - Excellent problem-solving skills and adaptability.
