Description

We are seeking a talented Furniture Designer to join our team in India. The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years of experience in creating innovative and functional furniture designs that meet the needs of our clients. This role requires a blend of creativity, technical skills, and an understanding of materials to produce high-quality designs.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with clients to understand their furniture needs and design preferences.
Create detailed sketches and 3D models of furniture designs using design software.
Select appropriate materials and finishes for each design project.
Ensure that all designs meet safety and durability standards.
Present design concepts and prototypes to clients and stakeholders for approval.
Stay updated on current trends in furniture design and sustainability practices.

Skills and Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Furniture Design, Industrial Design, or a related field.
2-3 years of experience in furniture design or a similar role.
Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, or SolidWorks.
Strong understanding of materials, manufacturing processes, and construction techniques.
Excellent creativity and artistic skills, with a keen eye for detail.
Strong communication and presentation skills to effectively convey ideas.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple projects.
