Furniture Designer

Job Description

Design furniture pieces for residential, commercial, or custom projects. Create technical drawings, 3D models, and detailed specifications using CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Rhino, SolidWorks). Collaborate with production, marketing, and sales teams to ensure feasibility, cost-effectiveness, and alignment with customer requirements. Research materials, production methods, and current design trends. Revise and refine designs based on feedback and practical constraints. Prepare prototypes or samples in coordination with the production team. Ensure designs meet safety standards, quality, and ergonomic guidelines. Maintain a portfolio of designs and prepare presentations for clients or stakeholders.
