Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Conceptualize and design original furniture pieces for residential/commercial markets.
Create detailed drawings, 3D models, and prototypes using CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Rhino, SolidWorks).
Select appropriate materials, finishes, and construction techniques.
Collaborate with product engineers, carpenters, and manufacturers to ensure feasibility and quality.
Stay up-to-date with design trends, materials, and production technologies.
Present ideas and designs to internal teams and/or clients.
Revise designs based on feedback, cost considerations, and production constraints.
Ensure all designs meet ergonomic and safety standards.
Maintain a library of design documentation and material samples.

Requirements:

Bachelors degree in Furniture Design, Industrial Design, Interior Design, or related field.
Proven experience (2–5 years) in furniture design or product development.
