As a Securities Services Ops Fund Accounting Team Leader at JPMorgan Chase, your role involves ensuring accurate NAV valuation and regulatory compliance for mutual fund clients. Key Responsibilities: - Perform cash and asset breaks reconciliation. - Prepare daily activities following SOPs and client deadlines. - Conduct self-reviews of activities before submission. - Analyze client accounting records and escalate issues as necessary. - Assist in resolving team queries and guide junior members. - Interact with stakeholders to address accounting queries. - Identify and implement process improvements for enhanced efficiency. - Ensure adherence to risk and control checks. - Maintain up-to-date checklists and SOPs for streamlined operations. - Utilize firm resources judiciously to meet business needs. - Foster team efficiency and innovation within the department. Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills: - Ability to work effectively within a team and build strong relationships. - Strong attention to detail in document review. - Proficient understanding of Mutual Funds and NAV. - Ability to perform under pressure and meet tight deadlines. - Proven track record of implementing change and managing initiatives. - Focus on risk management, control, and adherence to procedures. - Effective communication skills both in writing and verbally.
