Fund Accounting & Data Management (Private Equity)

You will be a driven and detail-oriented Analyst with expertise in Fund Accounting and Data Management within the Private Equity domain. Your role will involve identifying data gaps, reconciling discrepancies, and enhancing reporting accuracy. As a critical member of the team, you will need to be a hands-on problem solver, taking ownership, driving solutions, and effectively communicating with stakeholders. Your responsibilities will include performing detailed fund accounting tasks and financial data analysis for Private Equity structures. You will conduct end-to-end data reconciliation between multiple systems, collaborate with client teams to resolve issues affecting client reporting, and ensure data integrity. Analyzing and improving operational workflows to enhance efficiency and accuracy will be a key part of your role. Developing and maintaining advanced Excel models and reports, assisting in database queries, automation initiatives, and system-related troubleshooting, as well as preparing documentation and status reports for internal and client stakeholders will also be part of your responsibilities. To excel in this role, you should have at least 3 years of relevant experience, preferably in Private Equity fund accounting or financial statement analysis. You should possess a strong understanding of fund structures, capital calls/distributions, NAV calculations, and other PE-specific operations. Hands-on experience with data reconciliation, financial data analysis, and resolving data integrity issues is essential. Proficiency in Advanced Excel, including pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, IF formulas, nested functions, and exposure to databases, workflow automation, and analytical tools are required. Strong problem-solving skills, excellent verbal and written communication skills, and traits such as being aggressive, proactive, and demonstrating strong ownership and accountability will be beneficial for this role.,
