Fund Accountant

We are seeking a detail-oriented Fund Accountant to join our team in India. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting and finance, with experience in fund accounting. This role is critical in ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance for our investment funds.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain accurate financial records for assigned funds.
• Perform reconciliations of fund accounts and ensure all discrepancies are resolved in a timely manner.
• Assist in the preparation of financial statements in accordance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
• Calculate and record income and expenses for each fund and prepare reports for management review.
• Assist with audits and provide necessary documentation to external auditors.
• Monitor compliance with investment guidelines and policies.

Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
• 2-5 years of experience in fund accounting or related financial services role.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
