Role Overview: As a Functional Tester in the Airline Domain at Coforge, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of airline Passenger Service Systems (PSS). Your responsibilities will include executing functional test cases, leading QA professionals, utilizing API testing tools, developing comprehensive test strategies, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to maintain high standards of quality assurance. Key Responsibilities: - Possess an essential background in the airline industry, with a strong understanding of airline Passenger Service Systems (PSS). - Lead and mentor QA professionals, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement. - Execute functional test cases to ensure the quality of airline Passenger Service Systems. - Utilize API testing tools such as Postman and SoapUI for efficient testing processes. - Develop and implement comprehensive test strategies, test plans, and test cases. - Create detailed test reports to communicate findings effectively. - Oversee the identification, documentation, and resolution of defects, collaborating closely with development teams for timely bug fixes. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including development, product management, and operations, to maintain a unified approach to quality assurance.
