VLSI Functional Safety Lead

SoC and IP development teams

key leadership role

Key Responsibilities

• Lead functional safety activities for

  ASIC/SoC designs

  in compliance with

  ISO 26262

  .
• Perform

  safety analysis (FMEA, FTA, FMEDA)

  and audits across design teams.
• Develop and drive

  functional safety verification methodologies

  for

  Analog & Digital designs

  .
• Evaluate commercial

  FuSa verification tools

  , define

  test plans & safety flows

  .
• Review, monitor, and certify

  safety quality metrics

  across IPs and SoCs.
• Act as the

  gatekeeper of functional safety quality

  to ensure

  ASIL compliance

  and product success.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s / Master’s in Engineering, Science, or related field

  .

• 7+ years

  of experience in

  ASIC/SoC design (digital/analog)

  ,

  verification

  , or related fields.

Preferred Qualifications

• 5+ years

  of real-time experience in

  ISO 26262 / IEC 61508

  .
• Hands-on with

  FMEA, FTA, FMEDA

  .
• Proven expertise in

  automotive ASIC / VLSI design & safety methodologies

  .
• Strong knowledge of:
  

• ASIC design flow, digital design concepts, analog design methodologies

• SoC architecture, ARM processors, AMBA bus, DDR, and peripherals

• Solid

  design verification

  experience – test plans, test benches, assertions, coverage, and debugging.
• Deep understanding of

  ISO 26262 (Parts 4, 5, 11)

  with focus on

  semiconductor development

  .
• Excellent

  collaboration, leadership, and review skills

  .
