Functional Safety Lead VLSI / SoC Email: prabhu.p@acldigital.com | WhatsApp: +91 87543 87484 Job Overview We are looking for an experienced VLSI Functional Safety Lead who will be responsible for planning and leading functional safety activities in compliance with ISO 26262 for silicon hardware design . You will work across SoC and IP development teams to drive safety analysis, audits, verification methodologies , and ensure compliance to functional safety standards. This is a key leadership role that requires a strong mix of ASIC/SoC design, verification, and ISO 26262 functional safety expertise . Key Responsibilities Lead functional safety activities for ASIC/SoC designs in compliance with ISO 26262 . Perform safety analysis (FMEA, FTA, FMEDA) and audits across design teams. Develop and drive functional safety verification methodologies for Analog & Digital designs . Evaluate commercial FuSa verification tools , define test plans & safety flows . Review, monitor, and certify safety quality metrics across IPs and SoCs. Act as the gatekeeper of functional safety quality to ensure ASIL compliance and product success. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s / Master’s in Engineering, Science, or related field . 7+ years of experience in ASIC/SoC design (digital/analog) , verification , or related fields. Preferred Qualifications 5+ years of real-time experience in ISO 26262 / IEC 61508 . Hands-on with FMEA, FTA, FMEDA . Proven expertise in automotive ASIC / VLSI design & safety methodologies . Strong knowledge of: ASIC design flow, digital design concepts, analog design methodologies SoC architecture, ARM processors, AMBA bus, DDR, and peripherals Solid design verification experience – test plans, test benches, assertions, coverage, and debugging. Deep understanding of ISO 26262 (Parts 4, 5, 11) with focus on semiconductor development . Excellent collaboration, leadership, and review skills . Why Join Us?
