Functional Architect - TMS & GenAI

As a Solution Architect at our company, you will be responsible for visualizing solutions and translating customer or PMG business requirements into functional design solutions. Your role will involve working with multiple scrum teams to achieve delivery targets in terms of feature completeness and quality. You will have the ability to make tactical decisions regarding product direction and contribute to strategic decisions. Collaboration with members from various departments such as customer support and sales will also be part of your responsibilities. Additionally, you will define and take accountability for the definition of done for a feature. In our current technical environment, we use a variety of technologies including Java, Spring-boot, Gradle, GIT, Hibernate, Rest API, OAuth, and React JS. Our application architecture is based on a scalable, resilient, event-driven, secure multi-tenant Microservices architecture. We also utilize cloud architecture on MS Azure with tools like ARM templates, AKS, HD insight, Application gateway, Virtue Networks, Event Hub, and Azure AD. Frameworks such as Kubernetes, Kafka, Elasticsearch, Spark, NOSQL, RDBMS, Spring-boot, Gradle GIT, and Ignite are also part of our ecosystem. Your responsibilities will include working with the project team to ensure smooth implementation and integration between technical and functional system requirements. Collaboration with all levels of Blue Yonder associates in developing functional specifications, analyzing user needs, and testing will also be essential. You will participate in the business process analysis or design/construction phase of projects, leading to the writing of functional specifications. Ensuring security and integrity of corporate assets and intellectual property, as well as compliance with internal and external company policies and procedures, will be crucial. Your role will involve handling activities with a diverse scope that requires analysis of data and exercising judgment on methods and techniques for obtaining solutions within defined practices and policies. Coordinating project tasks on engagements will also be part of your responsibilities. We are looking for candidates with at least 8 years of industrial or domain experience, with a mandatory requirement of Transportation domain or GenAI experience. Deep functional knowledge of a product and an understanding of the solution suite domain are essential. Experience in building SaaS-based applications/next-gen solutions in the Transportation domain, exposure to customer interaction, and the ability to communicate product capabilities to customers are also key requirements. Mentoring or guiding junior team members, quality-focused development, defining stories, definition of done, and story/feature sign-off are additional expectations for this role.,
