Functional Architect - TMS

Role Overview: As a Functional Architect, your role will involve visualizing solutions and translating customer or PMG business requirements into functional design solutions. You will work with more than one scrum team to achieve delivery targets in terms of feature completeness and quality. Your ability to make tactical decisions about product direction and contribute to strategic decisions will be crucial. Additionally, you will collaborate with members from other departments such as customer support and sales, and take accountability for defining the "definition of done" for a feature. Key Responsibilities: - Act as a domain expert and advocate for best business practices for the product development team - Provide functional thought leadership to QA engineers, testers, and junior BAs - Decompose high-level requirements into individual feature requirements and use cases - Focus on improving end user experience through reviewing test plans and product documentation - Resolve critical customer issues and provide inputs in defect triage meetings - Ensure smooth implementation and integration between technical and functional system requirements - Develop functional specifications, analyze user needs, and participate in business process analysis - Ensure security and integrity of corporate assets and compliance with company policies - Mentor or guide junior team members and focus on quality-focused development Qualifications Required: - Bachelors or Master's degree in Computer Science or related specialization - Minimum 8-10 years of industrial or domain experience - Mandatory experience in the transportation domain - Deep functional knowledge of a product and understanding of the solution suite domain - Experience in building SaaS-based applications in the transportation domain - Exposure to customer interaction and communication of product capabilities - Ability to handle activities with a diverse scope and exercise judgment on methods and techniques - Quality-focused development experience with a focus on defining stories and ensuring story/feature sign off Note: The job description does not include any additional details about the company.,
